Kenneth O’Brien
Ken oversees the financial stability of Thayer & Associates and our more than 50 commercial, multifamily, apartment and homeowner association clients. He has served as our treasurer since 2001. He and our accounting staff manage $25M+ client operating budgets as well as the investment and security of capital reserve funds whose collective balance typically ranges from $10M-$15M.
Before joining Thayer & Associates as a senior property accountant in 1995, Ken worked in real estate management with Wingate Management Company and spent several years with a small CPA firm. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an accounting concentration from Salem State College.
