Jamie MacDonald

Originally from Massachusetts, Jamie MacDonald earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008 and quickly built a career in luxury property management with a focus on risk management, capital project coordination, operational leadership, and bringing order to complex challenges. Over the past 17+ years, she has managed more than 1,200 multifamily and commercial units and managed more than 200 capital projects ranging from $15,000 to $15 million. Her work has earned recognition in leadership, fundraising, and policy development. Since joining Thayer & Associates, Inc. in 2021, Jamie has managed a portfolio of more than 200 rental units and 1,000 condominium units. Jamie is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Salesperson and previously served for five years with WeLead, a women’s leadership organization based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 10-year-old daughter, volunteering in her community, and attempting to keep up with Gracie, the family’s wildly energetic Golden Retriever.
