  • The Phoenix

    The Phoenix is a non-profit organization whose mission is to build a sober active fitness community to those in recovery from substance abuse disorder. Phoenix events are free to attendees and the only cost is 48 hours of continuous sobriety. Events hosted by the Phoenix are free to all members and not just those in active recovery. Activities include weightlifting, running, boxing, rock climbing, yoga, Crossfit and more.

  • The Pegasus House

    The Pegasus House is a residential treatment center for transitional age youth and young adults established in 1985 to
    provide recovery and treatment services for females between the ages of 18-25. Also a non-profit organization, the Pegasus House relies heavily on donations.

  • MSPCA Angell

    One of the first humane organizations in America, founded shortly after the Civil War, the MSPCA-Angell has seen vast changes in society, the environment, and the roles of animals in our lives. It has helped make laws and set standards that have fundamentally shaped our sense of kindness and care for animals – and for one another.

  • Harvard Square Homeless Shelter

    Harvard Square Homeless Shelter is a homeless shelter in Cambridge, Massachusetts run entirely by students and volunteers in the basement of University Lutheran Church. Since 1983, the temporary shelter has provided 24 homeless individuals breakfast, dinner, and a place to sleep each night during the winter months. HSHS also offers counseling resources and a transitional program for guests who are employed and committed to saving money towards securing housing. Harvard Square Homeless Shelter is open from November 1 to April 15.

  • PKD Foundation

    The PKD Foundation is a non-profit solely dedicated to finding treatments and a cure for polycystic kidney disease (PKD). Its mission is to give hope to those affected by the disease. The foundation funds research, advocates for patients, and builds a community for all impacted by PKD on both the national and local level. Since 1982, they have invested $28M in research projects and leveraged over $1B in federal research funding, making them the largest private funder of PKD research.

  • Lucky Horse Equine Rescue

    The Lucky Horse Equine Rescue is a non-profit dedicated to the educated and empathic care of horses, and all animals in need of a soft place to land. Its mission is to protect abandoned, neglected, or slaughter-bound horses and other animals by saving, caring for, and rehabilitating animals in need. Lucky Horse also offers placement for horses in compatible loving homes as needed where they can lead contented and productive lives.
